Table styling and fresh florals

We hope you’ve enjoyed your Christmas home styling, table styling, and they are now adorned with wreaths, lights, garlands and trees. We’ve been busy creating people’s visions for their perfect Christmas décor as well as creating a winter wonderland in our own home, and the magic of Christmas is certainly welcome after this crazy, off kilter year.

To bring the final flurry of festiveness to your home and table styling, fresh flowers and place settings are the perfect finish to your Christmas celebrations.

Seasonal flowers for winter are beautiful anemones, lightly scented narcissi and hyacinth and wonderfully rouge tulips. These come in an array of colours, crisp, fresh whites, pastel tones and vivid deep merlots and purples, so can fit in with your overall theme.

We’ll be opting for simple whites with soft greens, with stems of eucalyptus and olive, and some herbs for scent. Feature vases on hall console tables or living and dining room coffee tables bring softness and scent to the home. Surrounded by eclectic candles and tealights create a cosy atmosphere for dark winter nights. Kitchen flowers in simple glass wear or rustic jugs can also bring a fresh, calm feeling to the room which will be the central hub of the preparation of Christmas feasting.

Running with your theme table setting is key for your festive feast. Consider your table size and everything going on the table from food, bird, glasses and drinks. Build from the table top up, starting with tablecloth, table runner or candles and vases, depending what will work with your serving style. Then plates and glass ware, stack plates for ease and depth of table style if you are having a sharing feast or use a charger plate or setting to create the perfect table plan if your meal will be served. Table settings with names and foliage tied to gathered cutlery or napkins can be the perfect welcome for your guests. And of course there’s the all-important Christmas crackers, go for luxury or get the little ones involved and make your own with hand picked gifts for each of your guests.

All these details can be done in advance to get ahead and enjoy maximum time with your loved ones, whether that be quality time with your nearest and dearest after a year of juggling home, life and more or welcoming dear guests to your home who we’ve been unable to share precious moments with. What ever your Christmas looks like we wish you a wonderful one, and hope it is styled to perfection and you’re ready to love the homes we are blessed with.

Much love and festive wishes xxx
